A Warm Welcome

This is a safe space to be heard and understood;
a place to pause
and look inwards,
where only Truth exists and you are free to meet YourSelf.

I too have experienced firsthand the power of being listened to with empathy and without judgement. Only when we feel safe to be ourselves, it is possible for us to return home to our inner Truth, our innate wisdom. That understanding is what inspired me to become a counsellor and continues to shape how I show up in the counselling room today.

You may arrive in therapy not because something is 'wrong', but because something feels misaligned. Perhaps you are coping on the surface while quietly holding anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, the impact of trauma, or a general sense of disconnection from who you really are. You might be exhausted from masking parts of yourself to fit in... from 'trying to stay strong' while carrying experiences that never quite found space to be understood.

If you identify as neurodivergent, highly sensitive or creative, you may find my way of working particularly resonant. Feeling deeply and thinking differently can be both a gift and a burden, especially in a society that often rewards restraint, conformity and normativity. When your inner world is vivid and responsive, living in environments that demand constant adjustment can take a real toll.

Collage photo showing a painting of Sisyphus, a labyrinth with the caption "back to your own centre; at your own pace", a woman hugging herself, a beach, a music score and a young man sitting on the floor next to a chair and covering half of his face with his hand. There is a caption "Change begins with awareness". The picture has warm blue and teal tones in contrast with warm neutrals

Together, we slow things down and gently listen to what is happening beneath the surface – in your body, your emotions, your relationships, and in the counselling room itself. With curiosity and care, we make sense of your experiences so you can reconnect with your inner resources and move closer to your authentic Self. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, meaning we move at a pace that prioritises safety, choice and nervous-system awareness.

This is a space to gently loosen survival patterns, welcome back disowned parts of yourself and realign with what feels meaningful and true to you.
