Reconnecting with Yourself
For many people, life can feel exhausting when there is a constant need to mask, self-edit, or push against a world that doesn’t always support their nervous system or natural way of expressing themselves.
What we call 'healing' is often less about becoming someone new and more about reconnecting with yourself. It is a process of gently taking the mask off, understanding yourself with compassion and allowing more of who you are to be seen and lived.
You may find yourself caught in cycles of anxiety, burnout, depression or emotional exhaustion. Perhaps you have always felt different and have only recently begun to understand why. You might have spent years trying to fit in, only to feel increasingly disconnected from who you are.
You have been longing to be heard – truly heard – yet sometimes words are not enough to express what is happening inside.
Who I work with
I work with adults (18 and beyond) experiencing a wide range of challenges, including:
- Relationship issues
- Burnout and emotional overwhelm
- Low self-esteem or lack of self-confidence
- Masking or silencing parts of yourself to fit in
- Creative blocks
- ADHD
- Autism
- Imposter syndrome
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and post-traumatic stress
- Workplace challenges
- Cultural identity
- LGBTQ+ identity
- Life transitions and identity exploration
- Feeling disconnected from yourself and your sense of purpose
While I welcome anyone seeking support, many of the people I work with identify as creative, neurodivergent and/or highly sensitive. You might be someone who experiences the world intensely, feels things strongly or reflects on them for longer; you might have a rich inner world and notice sensory details or become overwhelmed in busy, noisy or demanding environments. This can shape how you feel, think, relate to others and care for your wellbeing.
Because of this, mental health and wellbeing issues can develop – not because there is something 'wrong' with you, but because most environments are not designed with people like us in mind.
Together, we create a counselling space where your unique way of experiencing the world is welcomed.
Counselling that honours your depth

My practice is Integrative, grounded in the Person-Centred modality and informed by Jungian and Gestalt traditions. Above all, I believe that therapy works best when there is a good fit between the person, the therapeutic approach and the relationship we build together.
During sessions, we work through any issues you might wish to bring into counselling – while taking into account your sensory needs and preferred ways of expression.
We move at a pace that feels right for you, with curiosity, compassion and respect for your individual needs. There is nothing to be 'fixed' here – just acknowledged and welcomed into the counselling space.
Each of us processes things differently: you might think in images rather than words, connect deeply with music, notice patterns and symbolism, or need movement or time outdoors to regulate your nervous system. We will work together to find what feels more natural and supportive for you.
If creative or experiential techniques feel helpful, we can gently explore this together. This may include:
- dreams, metaphors, archetypes or symbols
- stories, poetry, artwork or images that resonate with your inner world
- music or songs that feel meaningful to you
- gentle present-moment awareness exercises
- noticing physical sensations, emotions and recurring patterns
However, these are always invitations rather than expectations. There is never any pressure to bring creative work into counselling; you might feel you benefit more from quiet reflection, conversation or just having a space to pause and decompress. Your presence, as you are, is always enough.
When therapy recognises your needs and individual ways of expression, these same qualities can become sources of insight, creativity and reconnection to yourself.
Fees
I operate on a tiered fee structure for both online and in-person sessions. I use an equity-based sliding scale so that therapy remains accessible to a wider range of people:
£40 – Concessionary rate (students, low income, benefits)
£45 – Standard rate
£50 – Supporter rate (for those who are able to contribute more to help keep counselling accessible for others)
